The Pitch
Jugger can be played pretty much anywhere with enough space. Its a hard and fast game, often with some spectacular acrobatics, so a soft ground is always a good idea!
Field of Play
The playing field is rectangular in shape, with clipped corners. The total length is 40 metres. The total width is 20 metres. Everything outside the playing field is out of bounds.

The short sides of the field are the Base Lines. The longer sides are the Side Lines. The centre of the field is marked with small line the same size as the skull. On this mark the skull is placed parallel to the base line when the game starts and before each new run begins. The goals are located on opposite ends of the field, with the hole 2m from the middle of the base line. During a run, no one is allowed within 1m of the side lines or base lines except for referees and active players.
